The aim of the course is to have participants develop an understanding of money, consciousness and energy, a flexible approach to viewing money in new ways and further knowledge and skills regarding budgeting, investing and current market and economy concepts and language. Participants will also learn how to read financial statements, get an introduction to investment strategies and develop the ability to gain an understanding of an organization’s health through a penetration of the finances.
At the completion of this course, students will be able to:
• Build upon a basic understanding of sustainable investing, meaningful goal setting, budgeting as it reflects personal/organizational values
• Understand financial statements
• Create a rudimentary ‘business plan’ for a non-profit entity

Workshop Leaders:
Francis M. Kinniry is a senior leader with Vanguard Investment Strategy Group, where he is the global head of Portfolio Construction. He is a senior investment management executive with more than 25 years of an ever increasing range of responsibilities and accomplishments. His primary responsibilities are capital markets research, portfolio design, development and implementation of customized investment solutions, investment market commentary, and research. Mr. Kinniry is a regular speaker on investment, economic, and portfolio management issues. He earned his M.B.A. and bachelor’s degrees from Drexel University.
Pamela Benton has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Albright College and has worked for many years in financial administration. Her professional background includes employment in large corporations, small businesses, independent schools, retail establishments and non-profit organizations. She is an experienced school administrator, small business owner, non-profit board member, financial consultant and has served as the treasurer in several organizations.

If a participant cancels more than 3 calendar days prior to the workshop start date, the AdminInstitute will refund all monies paid.
