A small group of very diverse organizations meet in Ithaca

A small group of very diverse organizations, from an After School Program for low income families to a large Private School for children with disabilities, from a University sponsored Think Tank to an Association of organizations, meet in Ithaca NY.

After our workshop with Frederic Laloux – author of Reinventing Organizations – he wrote to us:

Dear folk at AdminInstitute,

Thank you both for organizing and hosting. This was great fun for me, I almost never do workshops like this, so it was a treat. And an honor, frankly, to be in a room with beautiful people from so beautiful organizations. Just the day before, I had a skype conversation with people at Michelin, the global tire manufacturer who is bringing forms of self-management to 70,000 workers, which is to my knowledge a totally unprecedented scale and a really hopeful sign… and yet, sitting with you, I realized that it’s hard for me to get excited about the business of making tires, and that I feel so grateful that what I researched can be of value to organizations who are truly working to usher in a different future…

Warmly,

Frederic
